The second edition of Takeover fourth season will bring mobilee records ex-head honcho Anja Schneider. It’s been three months since she announced her amicable separation with mobilee. And at the moment, the German DJ and producer is readying both her new label, Sous music, and her sophomore album – her first release since leaving her famed imprint.
Founded by Anja in 2005, mobilee quickly gained popularity by helping launch the careers of stars like Pan-Pot and Hector early on, while continuing to champion breakthrough acts like Rodriguez Jr. and Re.You as well as promising newcomers like And.Id, Kevin Over and Jade.
Her new album SoMe was initially supposed to be a mobilee release. But as she was wrapping things up, Schneider realised her time with the label had been running out. Equipped with a brand new LP, Anja saw the perfect opportunity to turn the page and start a new chapter of her exciting musical journey by launching a new imprint, Sous Music.
Her new manifesto, SoMe, comes almost 10 years after her debut LP Beyond The Valley, an album that remains a fan favourite to this day and cemented Anja as a revered dancefloor hitmaker upon its release.
Tune in to Be-At TV on Thursday November 2 for the live premiere of Anja Schneider’s new album SoMe and read the full interview by Mira Karadjova.
